Hey y’all, I’m Ashlyn!

Do you ever just want someone to snap a photo of you as you snuggle your son or are running through the sprinklers with your daughters? I always feel a little needy asking someone to take a picture and it’s just not fair. We should have beautiful photos of us with our kiddos and families because I’m sure you realize how fast this whole newborn and toddler phase is going. I swear my girls are gonna be headed to middle school before I blink an eye. Since becoming a mom myself, two things are always on my mind!

I’ll give you a hint - notice anything similar about the photos below?!

Number one - it’s time to get mamas out from behind the iPhone camera and in front of my lens making memories with their families. Too often I find that mamas turn into the family photographer and don’t have any photos playing with their littles.

Number two - it’s time to get our photos off our computers and phone and up in our homes. How do you think your child feels when they walk into the living room and see a beautiful photo of them with their family? All the things parents want - for them to feel loved and secure. (Read more on this blog post about my Family Portrait Frame!)
